These is where my grandmother's ashes lie, near the top of a mountain close by her home. It's amazing, a couple of twist and turns in the dense back alleys of Taipei and suddenly we were on a winding moutain road. A spot in this government-run building costs NT$10,000 (~US$312) in perpetuity. If that sounds obscenely cheap to you, it does to me too.
